Digita is a provider of digital infrastructure and services, and Finland’s largest independent owner of telecommunications towers. We ensure the reliable functioning of everyday connections and the availability of diverse communications for all Finns, while respecting the environment. The company owns and operates Finland’s leading nationwide terrestrial television and radio network and develops future broadcasting services. Digita’s telecommunications services include private networks, the Internet of Things (IoT) and data center services. Services are provided to media companies, mobile operators, industry and infrastructure companies. Digita employs more than 100 professionals nationwide, and we want to be the best workplace in our industry for everyone.

Digita has two main business areas: Broadcasting and Telecom.

Broadcasting

Broadcasting covers our radio and TV services broadly. Our company’s unique connections enable the transmission of image, sound and information through television, radio and the internet. We also provide radio services throughout Finland with solid experience and professionalism. Our services are suitable for a wide range of needs: we produce high-quality radio services regardless of scale, from a single transmitter to nationwide coverage. Telecom

The focus of our Telecom business is on services based on digital infrastructure: IoT, Data Centers, Towers and Network Operations. Digita also offers companies 5G Private Network solutions, which are part of our Mission Critical Networks offering.

In our strategy, we are investing even more strongly in the Telecom business with the support of our new owner, GI Partners. As a significant independent player, we want to develop and provide the digital infrastructure needed by operators, other companies, the public sector and authorities that require excellent telecommunications connections. Our growing Towers business area includes the ownership and management of towers and equipment facilities.

Digita’s Data Center services provide reliable and stable server space for companies considering relocating or decentralising servers or telecommunications-related equipment. The technical solutions of the facilities, their central location at a telecommunications hub and stable conditions create a safe and secure operating environment for IT equipment. For the Internet of Things, or IoT, we have ready-made infrastructure available as a service platform for our corporate partners’ solutions. Our nationwide LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) network uses LoRa (Long Range) technology, the world’s first technology developed specifically for the Internet of Things. It enables data produced by low-power measurement sensors to be transferred wirelessly over long distances.
