Digita and Outokumpu collaborate to deploy private 5G network at the Kemi mine

HELSINKI December 19, 2025 – Digita and Outokumpu will collaborate to deploy a private 5G wireless network at the Kemi mine to support the mine’s digitalization and automation initiatives. The collaboration brings together Outokumpu’s mining expertise and Digita’s private wireless capabilities to explore new digital solutions in real mining conditions. The new network will provide secure, high-performance connectivity to enable more efficient, data-driven and safer mining operations.
